Client: Antron – INVISTA, a subsidiary of Koch Industries

Project Overview:
Richmond Concept partnered with Antron, a high-performance carpet fiber manufacturer, to execute a series of design projects based on their existing brand guidelines. The initial engagement involved creating key marketing materials that aligned with their strategic direction and brand standards. This successful collaboration led to Richmond Concept becoming Antron’s trusted design partner, handling a variety of ongoing projects such as PowerPoint templates, two-sheeters, sell sheets, brand book refreshes, full-page ads, promotional materials, and product guides.

Objective:
To create and deliver cohesive and visually engaging marketing materials for Antron, including a brand book refresh, sell sheets, full-page ads, two-sheeters, promotional materials and product guides.

Approach:

Initial Engagement:

  • Discovery and Planning: Met with the Marketing Manager to understand the requirements and scope. Discussed the need for a designer who could handle both new creative projects and support existing strategic direction.
  • First Project: Redesign two Salk installation stories into templates, each four pages long, to modernize and align with brand standards. Ensured minimal changes to the back side unless copy updates were required.

Ongoing Collaboration:

  • Digital Asset Management: Trained on accessing and managing the client’s Digital Asset Management repository for efficient asset handling.

Design Execution:

  • PowerPoint Templates: Created new templates and refreshed existing ones to improve usability and visual appeal.
  • Two-Sheeters and Sell Sheets: Designed concise, visually appealing documents for sales and marketing purposes.
  • Brand Book Refresh: Updated the brand book to reflect current standards and practices.
  • Full-Page Ads and Promotional Materials: Developed compelling advertisements and promotional items to boost brand awareness.
  • Product Guides: Created detailed product guides to assist in customer education and sales processes.

Design Tools and Techniques:
Richmond Concept utilized advanced design skills and tools to achieve high-quality results:

  • Software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Master Slides: Used PowerPoint’s Master Slide feature to maintain consistency across all presentations.
  • Graphic Design: Incorporated high-quality visuals, custom icons, charts, and infographics to enhance readability and engagement.
  • Animations and Transitions: Applied subtle animations and transitions to maintain viewer interest and highlight key points.
  • Data Visualization: Used SmartArt and charting tools to effectively present complex information.

  • Collaboration: Worked closely with Antron’s internal marketing stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand standards and strategic objectives.
  • Feedback and Refinement: Iteratively refined designs based on client feedback to ensure all materials met requirements and exceeded expectations.
