Client: First Day Homecare
Project Overview:
First Day Homecare partnered with Richmond Concept to develop a complete suite of branded EverBright event materials for their nationwide franchise network. The client needed a unified set of design assets that franchise owners could easily print, personalize, and use during community engagement events in senior living facilities. Richmond Concept delivered a full system that included a one page event flyer, four multi page How To Guides, and a large branded deck of EverBright Trivia Cards. All materials were built to establish a consistent visual identity for the EverBright program and support a scalable, high quality experience across all franchise locations.
Objective:
The primary goal was to create an accessible, cohesive design system that franchise owners could use without modifying underlying design files. Strategically, we aimed to elevate EverBright into a recognizable program with unified branding, clear layout patterns, and materials optimized for readability in senior focused environments. Success was defined by delivering print ready assets that were easy to use, visually consistent, and strong enough to support long term expansion of the EverBright brand.
Design System and Layout Approach:
We used Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to build a structured design framework that allowed every asset to share a unified visual language. The layouts applied the EverBright color palette, modular typography styles, and consistent content blocks so the system could grow as new programs are added. Each PDF was designed with editable form fields, allowing First Day franchise owners to enter their own contact information and enabling senior facilities to input specific event dates and times without altering the underlying design. For the trivia cards, we developed a color coded category system inspired by classic card games and optimized all type sizes for seniors and low vision users. The files were built with high contrast elements, clear alignment rules, and production ready formatting that supports both single sided and double sided printing.
Execution:
We began with a design exploration phase to define the visual language for the one page flyer and the multi page How To Guide templates. Once the overall structure was approved, we expanded the system across four guides, adjusting each layout to accommodate different content types while keeping the visual style consistent. The trivia card deck required iterative refinement to balance color, readability, question density, and print alignment. Throughout the process, we aligned design choices with the needs of senior residents and franchise owners, ensuring every deliverable was visually clear, easy to use, and production ready.
Outcome:
Richmond Concept delivered a complete branded asset system that included a polished one page flyer, four structured How To Guides, and a full deck of sixty EverBright Trivia Cards across ten printable sheets. These materials strengthened the EverBright brand and provided franchise owners with reliable, ready to use tools for community engagement. The final system elevated the program’s professionalism, improved consistency across markets, and created a strong foundation for future EverBright event content.
