Richmond Concept was engaged to redesign the main sales deck for PromisePay, a company specializing in helping utilities recover revenue from past-due customers while aiding those customers in getting out of debt and avoiding negative consequences. The project involved transforming a skeleton deck into a fully designed set of Google Slides masters, aligned with PromisePay’s existing visual identity.

Objective:
The primary objective was to develop a visually appealing and effective sales deck that clearly communicates PromisePay’s value proposition. The deck needed to be easy to update and evolve, fitting within the existing visual identity while being flexible enough to adapt to future needs.

Approach:

Content Development:

  • Integrated existing content from PromisePay’s preliminary sales deck and additional data points provided during the discovery phase.
  • Ensured the messaging was clear, concise, and tailored to the target audience’s needs and expectations.

Slide Structure:

  • Focused on creating a concise, impactful presentation, mindful of the limited attention span of busy decision-makers.
  • Designed a 20-slide deck, balancing comprehensive information with brevity to maintain engagement.

Visual Design:

  • Utilized modern, clean design elements to enhance readability and visual appeal.
  • Ensured consistency in design through the use of Google Slides’ Master Slide feature.

Design Tools and Techniques:

Master Slides:

  • Created custom layouts and templates to ensure uniformity in fonts, colors, and background images.
  • Managed design elements centrally through the Master Slide view for easy updates and modifications.

Animations and Transitions:

  • Applied subtle animations and transitions to highlight key points without overwhelming the audience.

Data Visualization:

  • Developed clear and compelling charts and graphs to present data and market insights effectively.

Execution:

  • Collaboration: Worked closely with the PromisePay team to align the presentation with their strategic vision and existing visual identity.
  • Iteration: Refined the deck iteratively based on client feedback, ensuring all requirements were met and expectations exceeded.

Outcome:
The final Sales Deck successfully conveyed PromisePay’s expertise and value proposition in the utility revenue recovery space.
